Bob graduated from the University of Alberta in 1973 with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. As a new grad he worked at Boyle’s Pharmacy and Telstar and then in 1978 he opened the doors to Script Pharmacy, a full-service pharmacy with an interest in compounding medications. In 1984 Bob joined PCCA (Professional Compounding Centers of America) in an effort to gain more compounding knowledge and network with other compounders. PCCA awarded Bob with The Pharmacist of the Year for 2007 recognizing his dedication to the field of compounding and his commitment to providing top quality health care service. Specializing in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) Bob has expert knowledge in men’s and women’s health and bioidentical hormones. In a continuous effort to serve his community, Bob is also developing new drug delivery systems to make medications easier to administer and provide easier access for medical treatment to the general population. In his spare time, Bob is an avid outdoorsman and can often be found hiking, sea kayaking, golfing and travelling.
Lauren’s passion to become a Pharmacist began very early on and in her case it is easy to say that the “apple has not fallen far from the tree”. Having spent many hours at Script Pharmacy during high school working alongside her father, Lauren quickly entrenched herself in to the family business and decided to pursue her dreams by attending the University of Alberta. Graduating from the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2005, Lauren’s areas of interest include helping people make responsible health decisions, encouraging healthy lifestyles, women’s health and hormone challenges, as well as using compounding to tailor medications to fit patient’s unique needs. She thrives on her ability to work on such a personal level with her patients and giving each of them a special quality of care that is often not found in mainstream pharmacies. Lauren believes in living a healthy lifestyle both at work and away from the office. She enjoys yoga, backpacking, traveling and spending time with youth.
Galvin graduated from University of Alberta in 2002. It was shortly thereafter that he packed up his bags, left his hometown of Edmonton and ventured to Banff, working in a local pharmacy for three years prior to joining the Script Pharmacy family in 2007. Having a strong interest in the areas of health and wellness, he found that Script Pharmacy was the ideal location to connect with people and help them attain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. When Galvin is not busy at work he enjoys lifting weights, skiing, cycling and spending time with his wife and 2 beautiful daughters.
Aleem is one the few who can claim being born and raised in Calgary. His studies took him to Edmonton for 5 years where he completed his pharmacy degree and graduated in 2002. He spent the first 10 years of his career gaining experience in a variety of stores as he practiced as a relief pharmacist. He enjoys the unique pharmacy practice and environment at Script Pharmacy. He finds it rewarding to be able to provide services and products to clients that are not readily available at traditional pharmacies.
Aleem is an avid sports fan (and although his roots are in Calgary "The Great One – Gretzky" drew him to be an Oilers fan at a young age). Beyond work he enjoys spending time with his family, ball hockey and working on his car.

David has an extensive academic pedigree having graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy, the University of Iowa where he obtained his Masters in Science and Athabasca University where he completed his MBA. In 2000 David joined Script Pharmacy with a desire to leverage his knowledge in order to provide customized medical treatment. For over 10 years now he has been perfecting his talent for compounding medication and working with clients to develop their ideal treatment plan. Connecting with the community, David enjoys volunteering as the Editor for his Community Association and Toastmasters newsletters.
Recognizing Script Pharmacy as a leader in its industry, Tannis joined the Script Pharmacy team in 2000. After graduating from the University of Alberta, Tannis worked at other pharmacies gaining experience in the industry; however, she was drawn to Scripts unique ability to go beyond providing simple prescription services. Tannis has a keen interest in bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) and loves that our independent pharmacy enables her to provide specialized information to her patients and track their progress with them. In her spare time, Tannis enjoys reading, scrapbooking and spending time with her family.
As an accredited pharmacist, Susan has been working as a member of Script Pharmacy to advance the role of the Pharmacist, moving away from a strictly dispensary role to a more integrated member of the health care team directly involved in patient care. After relocating from Edmonton, she was drawn to Script Pharmacy as a location that enables her to find innovative solutions to health problems that can increase the quality of life for her patients. Confident with the potential for bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), Susan also enjoys the opportunity to assist people to attain an optimal level of health through the use of hormones. In her downtime, Susan likes to read, exercise and enjoys time with her children.
Originally from Saskatchewan, Beatrice graduated from the University of Saskatchewan with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy. Beatrice began her career in Yorkton, SK where she practiced for four years, focusing on long-term care and anti coagulation management. After moving to Calgary, she joined the Script Pharmacy team and has thoroughly enjoyed every minute. In her words, it is the unique needs of the Script Pharmacy clients that provide her with new challenges on a daily basis and consistently keeps her on her toes. When Beatrice is away from work, she enjoys exploring Calgary and all the wonderful things the city has to offer, as well as, the close proximity to the mountains.
Originally from Calgary, Reena completed her Bacherlor's of Science in Chemistry degree from the University of Alberta. She then went on to earn her Master's in Pharmacy from Manchester University. She gained experience working at various pharmacies around Calgary before joining Script Pharmacy in 2014. As a Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE), Reena takes pride in helping her patients take control of their diabetes. She enjoys counselling about healthy lifestyle and medication management. She particularly enjoys the ability to help her patients on a personal level and collaborating with her colleagues on a daily basis. In her spare time, Reena enjoys travelling, reading, and bike riding.
Dr. Tory Jackson has a naturopathic consulting practice at Script Pharmacy. As a licensed Naturopathic Doctor, she has a strong integrative approach to functional medicine and optimal health. She is especially interested in hormone health, metabolic rejuvenation and the supportive role of evidence-based natural therapies.
Dr. Jackson is available for questions on supplements, products, laboratory testing and treatment approaches every Wednesday, Thursday and alternate Saturdays. Private consultations and individualized treatment programs are available with Dr. Jackson at Script Pharmacy by appointment.
Outside of work, Dr. Jackson loves to spend time amongst her friends and dogs, and cooking fabulous food. She finds balance with her regular yoga practice.
Jamie graduated from SAIT's Pharmacy Assitant Program in 2010. He then completed the Alberta College of Pharmacists Bridging Program and earned his Regulated Pharmacy Technician designation from Bow Valley College in 2012. Jamie was drawn to Script Pharmacy through his desire to learn more about compounding and other aspects of independent pharmacies. Jamie is an avid golfer, and a devoted Roughriders and Philadelphia Flyers fan. He also considers himself a sports fan in general.
Operating as a Pharmacy Assistant, Sharole enjoys working with the Script Pharmacy team and learning about all aspects of the pharmacy world. Sharole has a particular interest in nutritional supplements and has enjoyed her role in growing Script Pharmacy’s front store business. She enjoys assisting customers with their special orders, which may include searching for sources. She is also involved in preparing patients dosettes and assists the pharmacists with filling and dispensing prescriptions. When Sharole isn’t working, she can be found at the local curling rink, gardening or sewing.
Drawn to Script Pharmacy for its “family-like” atmosphere, Susan was instantly attracted to the personable environment where customers can come in, discuss their health concerns and receive a level of service not offered in traditional pharmacies. In her role as a Pharmacy Assistant, Susan enjoys the process and dynamics of compounding medications and looks forward to learning more about this field of practice. When Susan isn’t with her Script family, she's spending time with her own friends and family. She also enjoys reading and travelling.
Laura started at Script Pharmacy through her practicum training with SAIT. After completing her training, she accepted a part-time position. Laura takes pride in assisting Script Pharmacy's diverse clientele, and particularly enjoys interacting with patients. She is quite versatile, as she can apply her skill set in lab, dispensary, and customer service roles. In her personal time, Laura enjoys time spent with her husband and dog, playing sports, being outdoors, and cooking.
Hugo moved to Calgary at a very young age, spending most of his childhood in Southern Alberta. He started his education in aeronautical and mechanical engineering and later progressed to computer science. He began his career working in the oil and gas field. Hugo later went back to school, completing the pharmacy assistant program with honours. This allowed him to begin his pharmacy career at a veterinary hospital managing the dispensary and surgical suite. He then moved to Script Pharmacy where he works in the compounding lab. Outside of work, Hugo is working on achieving a business degree. He also enjoys spending time with his 2 children and 3 grandchildren. His hobbies consist of cooking, working out, and reading.
Carol completed the Medical Laboratory Technology Program at SAIT. She spent many years working at Calgary Laboratory Services and now enjoys working at Script Pharmacy learning from the highly experienced and knowledgeable pharmacists on staff. Carol enjoys the opportunity to learn new things and help new clients. In her spare time, Carol can be found reading, quilting or travelling with her family.
Maddy joined the team at Script in the summer of 2015. She quickly integrated herself into the customer service role. She thoroughly enjoys personal interaction and assisting clients in the front store. She's always smiling while thriving in the fast paced environment, and performing the many responsibilities of her position. Maddy plans on returning to school soon, but hopes to continue her role at Script Pharmacy.
